Virtual Real Estate Visit

I have a bike. And I love recording video.

So naturally, I started looking at GoPros. Then 360 cameras. And then my brain did what it always does, it found a business opportunity in the middle of completely unrelated research 😂.

While looking at 360 cameras, I realized something. These things can capture an entire property. Every angle, every corner. And if you stitch it properly, someone sitting in Mumbai can walk through a flat in Cooch Behar without ever stepping foot there.

Yeah i know, no one is looking for flats in Cooch Behar from Mumbai 😆.

The Real Estate Problem Nobody Talks About

Think about how property is sold right now, at least in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

You call someone. They tell you to come visit. They travel, maybe 45 minutes each way. They see the place. He/she says they will think about it. And then nothing happens for two weeks.

For high ticket properties, builders sometimes fly clients in from other cities. That is expensive, slow, and honestly not always possible.

But what if the client could just put on a VR headset and walk around the entire property from their living room?

That is exactly what a 360 camera makes possible.

So I Started Cold Outreaching

My silly business enthusiast brain would not let this go. So I did what I always do when I spot somthing, I just started reaching out.

Builders. Contractors. People who had properties to sell or rent.

Most ignored me. Some were curious but was not intrested in what I was offering. A few actually got it immediately.

And now I am working with one of them on a real project.

What We Are Actually Building

The first project is a full 360 tour of an entire floor. The property is not furnished yet, so all the units look the same. That actually makes it easier. We shoot one, we cover all.

The client can send this link to potential buyers anywhere in the country. They open it on their phone, drag to look around, or plug in VR goggles and actually walk through the space.

For the builder, this opens up a completely different pool of buyers. People who would never come to see the property in person can now make a decision based on a proper visual experience, not just floor plan PDFs and photos.

The Furnished Version

This is the part I am most excited about.

I launching a section where we provide a 360 furnished version of the property. The flat is empty right now, so we work with an architect, add furniture digitally, and show the buyer exactly what it could look like as their home.

You are not just seeing walls and floors. You are seeing your living room. Your kitchen. Everything!

That changes how people buy. It makes the decision emotional, not just logical. And emotional decisions close faster.

Why This Works for Indian Real Estate

A lot of Indian buyers, especially NRIs or people relocating from other cities, cannot always visit in person before making a decision. But they also do not want to commit lakhs of rupees based on a few photos and a WhatsApp call.

360 tours sit exactly in that gap. Real enough to build trust. Remote enough to be convenient.

And social media is another angle entirely. Builders can run these as ads. Imagine scrolling Instagram and seeing a full walkthrough of a flat instead of a flat image. The engagement difference is massive.
